Have you ever had someone tell you "Have a blessed day" ? It's amazing how just a few simple words spoken with sincerity can totally change your mindset and make you realize just how blessed you really are. Although I sometimes take for granted the many blessings that God bestows upon me, whenever I hear these four heartfelt words, it makes me stop and take a moment to tell him "Thank You! I am so blessed and grateful to have my health and strength; people who love me; food, clothing and shelter; and all the little things that make my life comfortable and enjoyable. We become so used to these blessings that we sometimes forget that there are so many people throughout the world who are far less fortunate than we are. So ... when you are tempted to start murmuring and complaining about what is not right in your life, stop and take a moments to count your blessings and thank him for everything that IS right. Remember you are blessed among women.

For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
Job 1:10
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
My Prayer:
Dear God:
Thank you for every good and perfect gift that you have bestowed upon me. May your blessings and mercy be forever with me. Enable me to be a blessing to those that are less fortunate than I am. And ... please help me to remember to seek your presence and not your presents. For your presence alone is the greatest blessing I have every received.
